Project summary

Coppertech Renewables were appointed to support the Hereford Solar Farm after the project had fallen significantly behind schedule and was at risk of missing its energisation deadline.

Our initial remit focused on recovering the module installation, however following successful delivery, we were contracted to complete the full site-wide stringing works including pulling dressing, module and string terminations and testing.

Challenges overcome

The site, located on a severe flood plain, presented multiple logistical and environmental challenges, particularly during the winter build phase. Despite these constraints, our team implemented adaptive working practices and maintained strict adherence to programme.

Through disciplined execution and strong co-ordination with the principal contractor, Coppertech successfully delivered its scope on time enabling the client to achieve energisation and avoid potential delay-related penalties.
